On Saturday 13 September, from 10am-4pm, the Cairns Hinterland Steiner School will host its annual Spring Fair and Open Day. The family-friendly event is a celebration for the children and families of the school, and for our local community too. Everyone is welcome to attend!

The day has something for everyone with children’s games, village fete activities, marionette puppet shows and a range of delicious food and drink stalls. A feature of the day—the Maypole dance—is mesmerizing to watch, and anyone can join in and give it a go!

The day also highlights the breadth of Steiner education with students’ work on display, musical performances and student-run stalls.

The Spring Fair and Open Day is also an ideal opportunity for families considering Steiner education to visit the school, meet staff and take a school tour. Families can learn what the Steiner curriculum and the school’s specialist programs offer children.
